A quick blog for you tonight, so we’re gonna jump right in with some things.  The Polish Pickup is inching ever so close, and I am determined to get all these blogs done BEFORE the sale starts (as in, ideal scenario).  So even though I’m just tossing out pictures and not saying words, pretending like I ain’t a huge drool-y mess and this is all NO BIG DEAL, let me assure you:  it’s basically the BIGGEST big deal that you ever did see and I’ve got a thousand drool buckets here to prove it.  But since we don’t have 18 years to just hang out in here reading things today, it’s onto the polish sans-fanfare we go. Weeee!

Here’s the contribution for January from Lollipop Posse Lacquer.  Time for noodle legs!

Are you hot? Cuz I’m hot. I’m just gonna lie down and pass out for a quick second, okay? BRB. Let’s hope there’s an old fashioned Victorian fainting couch nearby. Specifically. Cuz I refuse to get unattractive on a futon.

The theme for this month’s Polish Pickup is Crystals & Gemstones and Karen was inspired by one of her favorite cartoons, Steven Universe.  I’ve never seen this show, as a) it’s not Full House and b) Leonardo is nowhere to be found, but Karen always has such interesting taste in tv (and movies and books and music), and I’m kinda a little bit jelly of her coolness.  Cuz I’m literally watching Joey with his tongue stuck in a Coke bottle for about the gazillionth time, soooo … if you want a rut done in the most professional way of all time, well then guess who’s your lady?  That sounds like an accomplishment of superhuman proportions, but TRUST ME, it is not.

Back to the inspiration.  There’s a guy named Steven and he has a very special relationship with Garnet, the leader of the Crystal Gems.  Below is the pic, and Garnet is the one in the middle:

And then Karen made a most spectacular polish twin.  Look:

MADE OF LOVE

DESCRIPTION:  A magenta/garnet crelly with shifting blue/indigo shimmer, color shifting iridescent glitter and color shifting flakies

OPACITY:  Two coats, but I did a third cuz how could I not?  The flakies voodoo’ed me BIG TIME.

Karen calls it juicy, and I’d agree roughly one trillion percent.  It’s straight up yummy deliciousness poured into a bottle!  Not food not food not food not food.  The effort of NOT sticking all four fingers in my mouth is currently at an all-time high.  Maintaining the sexy level has clearly worked out well with this one, guys!  Hubby needs to LOOK AWAY though, you know, FOR SAFETY.
