This blogging this has suddenly taken a var var serious turn.  Cuz in-laws are coming for the holidays, and now I can’t sit and stare at a blank screen for like 18 hours straight like normal.  Hubby says blogging in the bedroom with the door shut is RUDE, and also I have to put clothes on, soooo … Merry Christmas y’all.  Hope you’re enjoying your pajama-full life.  I’ll just be over here NOT BLOGGING and wearing clothes like a crazy person.  Ugh.

Welllll, if I wasn’t overly dramatic, whose blog would this be?  Certainly not mine. I’m actually excited for family to come. Not the having to keep the house clean part, but since they’re hubby’s parents, certainly he’s responsible for pretending we dust on a daily basis?  I’m gonna go ahead ahead and say YES.  And so it’s pajama time for me! Weeee!  Oh wait … DAMMMMMIT.

Long story short, I’ll be speed blogging starting tomorrow.  Cuz I still have a ton of Polish Pickup stuff left to do and pretttty much ZERO free days to do them in.  Seriously guys, my ultra organize-y spreadsheet has CLEARLY not failed me AT ALL.

The theme for this month is Crystals & Gemstones and Sarah and Adrienne chose Dioptase as their inspiration.  Pretty much the most glorrrrrious thing in the entire world. And it grows from copper – and anytime you toss a bunch of copper in the mix, well no one is looking sexy over here, let’s just say. The drool bucket-to-person ratio is about a trillion percent askew.

I almost did a third coat on this one cuz stopping all the polishing in the midst of all this green is probably one of the most superhuman things I’ve ever done. Seriously, I’m amazing.  SEND BONUS POINTS. And Leonardo, cuz I’ve done suuuuuper real good this time.

A word about this next one. I tilted my hand a bit to try to capture that slight violet-y shift. And I kinda sorta did it y’all!  Worth half a horn toot at least.

I also somehow, miraculously gained a piece of cat hair at some point between the top pic and the bottom pic.  Like, in a span of 2.5 seconds I accidentally made some magic happen.  So don’t look at the space between my pinky and ring finger.  DON’T LOOK AT IT.  Cuz I’ve stared at it hardcore enough for all of us.
