Welcome to my 7,397th blog in a row. The carpal tunnel situation is legit no joke. But because I am a PROFESSIONAL BLOGGER EXTRAORDINAIRE, we soldier on anyway. Sooooo … a little horn toot, perhaps? I mean, all this effort’s worth a half of one at least.
Oooooh, coffee just appeared out of nowhere! Topped with whipped cream and booze. GAH! After rice cakes and starvation and bowls of sad baby carrots, an award has officially come. Thank you to hubby for being so sweet! Either he loves me or is just tired of watching me cry when I get near Cheetos. Regardless, we shall stay married for one more day.
Still on this Polish Pickup thing. Here’s what Finch with Scofflaw Varnish made for us:
As mentioned previously, the theme for December is Holidays Around the World. Finch chose Earth Day, a global event with over a billion participants in nearly 195 countries, all with one goal in mind: preserving the planet. The older I get, the more this interests me. I’m thinking I’ll make a new year’s resolution to be more environmentally aware. Do something else besides just toss pop cans in the recycling bin. I figure my granddaughters might like to grow up in a world not so dirty and gross and full of rusty old appliances. I mean, landfills give me anxiety and I’m pretttty sure that’s genetic.
Check out the inspiration photo:
Now look at this polish:
PALE BLUE DOT
NAILED IT doesn’t even begin to describe this scenario. A most glorious galaxy interpreted perfectly. Finch might’ve planned this out or something. ORRRRR! She might be a magician. Either way, toot toot!
DESCRIPTION: A blackened blue jelly packed with green and turquoise holographic glitters, shifting blue/green multichrome flecks and silver shimmer
OPACITY: Two perfect coats
Had zero issues with formula. Nice and opaque and all sorts of delicious. The little pops of green make me the happiest of all things happy. Plus, it comes with a side of Leonardo! Or else I just dreamed that. I dunno.
This macro floors me. It’s got drools and swoons and noodle legs written allll over it. Who’s an official unattractive mess right now? (ME, to be clear. Also, YOU, cuz I refuse to be the only ridiculous thing in here.)
Excuse me while I attempt to remain at least slightly upright. But roll over one of those old fashioned fainting couches, just to be safe. And a cute boy to feed me grapes, you know, while I’m being all lounge-y.
Var var important things below, most of it plagiarized from my own dang blog. Not ashamed to cut-and-paste, especially when we’ve been speed blogging for nigh on eternity.
Price: $12
WHAT: 50-plus indie polish brands all coming together for a one-stop shop event; you buy one or all, it’s up to you! Flat $3 shipping no matter what. Combined shipping is offered as well so go ahead and make 42 separate orders; it’s all good (crazy, but good).
