Current status:  slowly coming down from a root canal high, in and out of the remainder of the conscious sedation medication, so I figure WHY NOT WRITE A BLOG, THENNN? cuz that makes some kind of ridiculous logic right about now if you ask me.   I mean, I have a legit reason to say something stupid this time, at least, instead of the usual stupid that comes out without warning that I normally do.  The fact I am deleting and retyping and spellchecking all 71 words up there is beside the point.  I’ve had a two day blog break, and figure it’s now time to get back into it.  This thing may get published at some point anywhere between today and 2037, so get ready y’all!  It’s coming!  Or else I’m dreaming.  I dunno; it’s a crapshoot.

Memories are coming back to me though.  I didn’t feel any pain except for the mouthpiece you’re forced to wear that was most definitely a War World II torture device at some point.  And the Universe decided it would be an excellent time for a coughing fit.  Oh, and after my nap at home, I woke up with chewed-up pieces of Chick-Fil-A in my mouth, soooo … we obviously we went to Chick-Fil-A and also, the sexy level is still at an all-time high.

To keep the momentum going, let’s talk nail polish.  I have some glorious pieces from the ever lovely Hayley with Emily de Molly to share with you today.  Shall we look?  WE SHALL!

You know, I looooove how Emily de Molly is based in Australia because I got hot pink and lime green for Christmas and I am the happiest of all things happy!  Aside from all that flakie business, which already made me a skosh loopy and it’s not cuz of the sedation meds, I’m sure of it.  Well, about 23% sure at least.  But we’ve got bright and bold and some shimmery, shifty goodness; approximately 7 things you’re buying in case you need to know.  ORRRRRRR! You can just go tossing polish in the shopping cart with your eyes closed so willy nilly and carefree.  Cuz you want EVERYTHING, that’s why.

I’m not saying there’s a nail polish problem, but there’s probably a nail polish problem.  No cure.  OH WELLLLL!

Quick rundown of the colors so I can go to bed early for once.  I know!  Who’s blog is this, as it’s certainly not mine.

TIED TO MYSTERY 

DESCRIPTION:  A bright pink jelly with violet shimmer and iridescent flakies

OPACITY:  Two coats plus glossy top coat

DOWNWARD SPIRAL 

DESCRIPTION:  A navy blue holographic with pink/green/gold shifting shimmer and iridescent flakies

OPACITY:  Two coats plus glossy top coat

UNTAPPED POTENTIAL 

DESCRIPTION:  A purple/red/orange/gold multichrome shifter

OPACITY:  Two coats plus glossy top coat

BRIGHT COUNTERPART 

DESCRIPTION;  A lime to neon yellow thermal with gold shimmer

OPACITY:  Three coats plus glossy top coat

Just a note on this particular color:  one batch of this was made and after it’s gone, it’s GONE.  As in, Polish Emergency.  So if you’re loving this one – and of course you are – then make sure you’re first in line.  Cuz those in the back?  Saaaaaaad state of affairs for you.

THE ROUND UP 

Welp.  I told you how much you’re buying these.  Cuz there’s no way you’re turning your back against all this pretty, now.  I mean, do you walk away from a Tall Raspberry Mocha topped with Whipped Cream and Chocolate Drizzle?  And with Leonardo attached to the end of it?  Who’s pulling a wagon full of softly mewing kitties?  ONLY IF YOU’RE CRAZY.  So see?  I swatch, you buy.  That’s how these things work.

Release date for this collection is Monday, December 18 at 10am AEDT if you’re Australian.  The US release has had a bit of a shipping delay, but shouldn’t follow too far behind, so watch this space for updated info.  Also, the pricing.  I don’t have exact numbers, but if you go by pricing from previous releases, they will range between $9 and $11.50 USD.  I’ll edit the blog once I know for sure, and then we can revel in what a professional little blogger you have on your hands.

Hey!  We made it to the end and nothing too stupid happened.  Maybe I’m finally getting the hang of this blogging thing.  Or MAYBE, I’ve just spent the past 27 minutes proofreading, spellchecking and erasing some stuff.  Regardless, a blog has been written, and at this point in the day (prior to midnight for some rare weird reason), that is all that matters.
