I fully intended to finish this blog on the plane today, but I had a nap with mouth hanging open around a bunch of strangers instead. Seriously, can I not ever be sexy even for just a little bit? NO I CANNOT.
However, I did get a portion of the blog written but then hubby dropped a pretzel on his tray table and then put it in his mouth like no big deal. Nooooo! ABORT ABORT! Don’t make me spend the rest of this flight googling symptoms of the GERM POISONING you’ll undoubtedly have later. Ugh.
Meanwhile, I’m over here sticking my face in the bag to grab pretzels with my tongue like a crazy person. Again, sexy = out the dadgum window.
Let’s talk polish! I have a lovely set of fall colors from Jill with Glisten & Glow to share with you today. There’s creams and holos and general yummy deliciousness, so brace yourself for pretty things. Ready? Well then lesss go!

Welp, you’re buying all that. I see no reason otherwise.
So this collection is split into three cremes and three holos, and I can’t even begin to describe how happy they make me. The cremes are absolute perfection – smooth and glossy and basically all your polish dreams come true. But then Jill tossed three holos in the bunch, and seriously I may never be the same again. Absolute beauties! A Grabby Fingers epidemic is lurking, I swear it.
Quick rundown of the colors (as usual, lately). Let’s do the cremes first.
APPLE PICKING & ANTIQUING
DESCRIPTION: A red scarlet creme and sexy as hell
I did some nail art with apples cuz I am the most cleverest person in alllll the land. It turned out pretty cute, so if y’all wanna hand me my horn, imma toot it real quick. Toot toot! By the way, SURPRISE!, these cremes stamp.
Used the Uber Chic Beauty School is Cool plate for the apples and the Lina Feeling Shapely 01 plate for the chevrons, if you’re curious.
PUMPKIN CARVING & PALE ALE
DESCRIPTION: A medium tangerine orange creme, kinda Cheeto-y which makes me lub it MORE
To keep the streak going, I stamped pumpkins this time and think this one turned out pretty good as well. Two decent nail arts in a row! Whose blog is this, cuz it’s certainly not mine.
Used the Lina 4 Seasons-Autumn 01 plate for this one! I have a feeling I’ll be using this plate lots over the next couple months.
LEAF PEEPING & LATTES
DESCRIPTION: A medium pine green creme, and if you guessed it’s my favorite, well then you may continue to read this blog
Do not look at this nail art. Seriously, don’t do it.
You looked. I can’t even explain what happened. Sometimes I nail art with my eyes closed.
Used the Lina 4 Seasons-Autumn 01 plate again in case recreations are in order. (They’re not. Moving on!)
Each creme swatch shows two coats with glossy top coat. Application was spot on amazing. No issues whatsoever; self-leveled like magic. You will love!
Now time for holo. Check these out:
SNUGGLING & STAR GAZING
DESCRIPTION: A navy blue holographic with green shimmer
Color leans more teal, but I’m assuming that’s the green shimmer peeping through. Either way though, GIMME.
SOUP & SIPPIN’ CIDER
DESCRIPTION: A medium plum holographic with copper shimmer
All you purple lovers, pay attention! This one’s headed for the shopping cart! The copper shimmer really lends a certain richness to the color, and if it somehow ends up on all the surfaces, well no one is surprised.
TURKEY TROT & TAILGATING
DESCRIPTION: A medium cinnamon holographic with dusting of gold shimmer
I love a good brown polish; they’re so comfy and cozy and warm and luscious. If we’re forced to give up summer, at least there’s brown polish to get us through.
All three holo swatches show two coats plus top coat. Coverage was excellent in one coat, but we always do two for safety. Formula was effortless on these as well. They’re perfect for a quick mani, cuz not everyone has 17 hours to polish nails like me.
