KBShimmer: Summer Vacation Collection

Standard

Current status: sitting in the bathtub, writing a blog, eating a Schlotzsky’s sandwich.  Seriously, if I could be even a skosh more overachieve-y, I might be President of the Universe by now.  Which, considering how well I manage my own life on a daily basis, it might not be too shabby of a deal.  You get pajamas, and you get pajamas, and YOU get pajamas … Happy days ahead for everyone!

A most exciting blog for you today!  I received this glorious swatch pack from Christy with KBShimmer, and I swear, did Leonardo just walk in here and hand me a Starbucks?  Might as well have.  Cuz BEST DAY EVER doesn’t even begin to describe this scenario.

And then SOMEONE tossed a bunch of glowing holo flakies on everything, and we all just died a thousand tiny deaths.  Ugh.  Ladylike composure = completely out the window.

See?!  How we all gonna act normal in here now?  The flakies got me guys.  They got me good.

So this is the new Summer Vacation collection, a set of 8 beachy, rainbow-y, shimmery shades with this cool inner glow to them that’ll have you lounging on couches with your drool bucket, smelling salts and 27 levels of sexy, at minimum.  Who’s ready to spend some money today?  Every dadgum one of us, that’s who.  Lessss go!

THE ROUND UP

Each of these polishes had a consistent formula, very smooth, easy to apply, no gloop! I did three coats for my swatches even though two would probably be just fine for most of you. But because I have a nail polish problem, I always end up doing more coats than necessary. CAN’T.  STOP. POLISHING. Story of my life.

The colors really do have a glowy property to them, especially the darker shades. I didn’t even know glowing holo flakies was a thing, but imma need a trillion more bottles, pretty much. Cuz when I love something, I do it in the most smother-y, stalker-y way possible.

I’ve shown you swatches in indirect lighting, under the lamps and under the mood lights so you can get a feel for how these polishes look in multiple situations. The color shifts and shimmery surprises are drool-worthy and noodle leg-enducing.  Might also cause moan-y throat noises to come out, so make sure you schedule things according. Moans during work functions might violate some sort of HR thing, I dunno.

So good news, guys! You’re buying allllll this!  Here’s the deets:

Full Summer Vacation collection retails for $70

Single bottles are $9.25 (but this point is moot, obviously; all eight, in the cart they go!)

I’ll be showing more KBShimmer goodies soon, so stayed tuned.  Cuz those 7,397 blogs left to write?  Barely a dent. One of these days, I’ll figure out how to be a Superhuman.

Later, loves!
