Current status:  celebrating my wedding anniversary.  For year five, the traditional anniversary gift is WOOD, so not only did hubby book us in a beautiful treehouse overlooking scenic rolling hills and blooming things everywhere, but the popsicle stick Titanic with matching toothpick Leonardo that hubby SWORE he’d make for me is bound to make an appearance soon.  Except that it’s taking it’s DAMN SWEET TIME and patience is a thing for other people.  Ugh.  YOU GUYS.  I’ve stayed married a whole 1,825 days just for this moment, and that’s some kinda EFFORT if you want my opinion.  Plus, I shaved my legs and everything, and y’all know how useless I am once I lounge about in a bathtub for 2 and a half hours.

Sooo .. who’s the luckiest person of all time ever?  HUBBY IS, one trillion percent.

While we wait for the gift that BY-GOD BETTER BE COMING, let’s blog about some nail polish!  Considering how someone booked me on a 3.5 mile hike in the woods tomorrow (RUDE) I figure it’s the least I can do.  Besides, I’m up for Week 6 in the Road to Polish Con series, and apparently there’s a deadline and perhaps you’d like to know about the things before the things are no longer the things.  Oooooh, Olympic-style blogging skillz are officially at an all time high!

DESCRIPTION:  Straight up magic.  Or a pale greyed lavender with pink shimmer and holographic sparkle, if you need me to be a professional for once

OPACITY:  Two coats plus glossy top coat

How gorgeous is this thing? (VERY.)  The shimmer in here is legit no joke and has got me all sorts of swoon-y.  Seriously, good thing hubby’s fallen asleep, otherwise anniversary number 6 would be dangerously on the line.  Who’s looking approximately 27 levels of sexy?  NOT THIS LADY.  Cuz there’s not much sexy to go around whilst your tongue is lolling about outside your body.

Formula was of a medium thickness and applied like a dadgum dreamboat.  Light colors like this sometimes need three coats to cover, but I was pleasantly surprised I only needed two.  Of course, some of you might need or want three; regardless, though, you’ll love every last bit of it.  One coat, two coats, three coats, a BILLION.  Completely normal behavior, in case you didn’t know.
